Ecommerce with Magento

Recently I found myself addicted to e-commerce script Magento. Magento is absolutely free and you can download and installed into your computer. I had personally try to installed myself and it work just perfectly in my machine. Compared to OScommerce, the leading open source ecommerce solution, Magento is much more nicer. Somehow, I would not believe this script is FREE.
Here’s my specification installing Magento into my computer:
- Operating System: Windows XP Professional (SP2)
- PHP version 5.2.4
- Mysql version 5.0.45
- PhpMyAdmin version 2.6.2-pl1
If you would like to have a try, you can download from here.
Here are some of the common problems you will encounter when you tried to installed Magento into Windows machine.
Problem 1: The requested URL /install/ was not found on this server.
Problem 2: 500 internal server error
Problem 3: PHP Extension “mcrypt” must be loaded
Problem 4: PHP Extension “curl” must be loaded
I had compiled all the changes you need in order to get to the installation setup screen here –> Magento Common Problem Fixes (Microsoft Word Format).
IF however you are unable to see the installation screen even after you have completed all the step I had listed, it could be your PHP, Apache and MySQL installation problem, you can try your luck at Magento Community Forum here.

Hello Ken,
Thank you for the kind words about Magento. Would it possible for you to post the contents of the word doc in the Magento wiki? I am sure others users are running into the same problems.
Thanks!
Roy
